I am La Toya; the Corporate Creative and YOUR Business Partner at La Toya Griffith Consulting Limited.
For over 15 years, I have danced the proverbial line between the corporate and creative worlds.
In the corporate world, I craved the flexibility, expression and fulfilment that creative spaces facilitated. However, when I crossed the floor over into the creative world, I desperately wanted the stability, structure and communal effort that a corporation offers.
Learning what each world had to offer and what each lacked, I developed the strategies, systems and skills to thrive in both corporate and creative environments.
My technical competence is supported by a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double concentration in Human Resource Management and Marketing Management. I am the holder of a Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management with a specialization in Training & Development and uphold an evidence-based approach to the development/ revision of Human Resource Policies, Procedures and Programmes.
Compliance with Industrial Relations legislation and practices is prioritized given the learnings I gained while pursuing a Certificate in Labour Law. As an advocate for both employees and their employers, I often lean on my training in Alternative Dispute Resolution for the benefit of the respective stakeholders.
As a multi-passionate entrepreneur, I also own and operate Nook and Cranny Housekeeping Limited and Hodge Podge Home Interiors. I have had the experience of building and sustaining my businesses. I have and continue to learn some invaluable lessons around managing finances, co-ordinating staff and customizing business systems and I would be honoured to
share my learnings with you.
